“I believe in the power of images, feelings that are spawned by light, color, and texture. The challenge to create and capture these emotions is what drives me as a photographer.

That and immortality.”

I started developing and printing film in high school. I stole a Communications degree from MTSU and worked as a photojournalist until running out of editorial work and pivoting to conferences and events. It’s a lot uglier and more complicated than that but I shoot primarily Canon and I develop my film at Coastal Film Labs in Tampa. I love cartoons, surfing (soon), writing comedy and cursing.

I’ve had plenty more than 1,000 images published while shooting news, sports and editorial for Gannett and other publications in Nashville and New Orleans.

I hold an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification.
